This Trust mouthpiece is designed to help the horse to mouth the bit and comfortably relax his jaw. The double joints remove the nutcracker action, as the bit stays in a curved shape, following the contours of the horse's mouth. Therefore the bar and palette pressure associated with single-jointed bits is removed.
